- I just installed NT and am experiencing a problem with my COM port setup.
- Actually, it seems NT thinks I don't have any... I have a Logitech serial
- mouse on com1 (8250) and my modem is on com2 (16650). Whenever I move the
- mouse, the pointer flies around the screen in a seemingly random fashion.
- I also can not use my comm program (Telix) in an NT DOS Shell.
- BTW: This is all working just fine under Windows 3.1.
-
- I tried to use the Control Panel - Port Setup and was informed that there
- was no Registry Device Map for Serialx to COMy. I can't seem to figure
- out how (or where) to set com port parameters using REGEDIT. Not that
- I've had time to print the documentation, or anything :)
-
- Any Suggestions?
