- I will be searching for a new machine soon, and would like to get
- onto the development program for windows NT. I would like to know
- some specifics about the CDROM requirements for installation.
-
- 1) Can you use a non SCSI CD drive to install NT (i.e.-SoundBlaster)
- 2) is there any reason why you would need to access the CD from
- within NT, therefore requiring SCSI
- 3) any word on new SCSI support (adaptec is rather expensive)
- 4) not that this has anything to do with CD drives, but
- when is the next release of the NT SDK due, and
- what video drivers will have been added by then?
- are there any additional video (hi-res)drivers
- available that were not mentioned in the origional list?
-
- Thank you for your help.
