- Alex, you're lucky. You're starting off with one of the few supported SCSI
- adapters on the 5-1/2" boot floppy. The floppy has the driver you need. We
- have the CDR-74 (external model of the 84, I believe), and we had to purchase
- the Adaptec 1542b because we couldn't get NT loaded using the T128 NEC SCSI
- adapter that we bought w/the cdrom drive.

- Just yesterday I loaded NT and, as far as the cdrom goes, we had NO PROBLEMS
- at all. Besure to set your jumper correctly on the adaptec for booting from
- the floppy, however. In our case, the default jumper setting didn't allow
- us to boot from the floppy, and after changing it, we were off and running.
