  25. Alex, you're lucky.  You're starting off with one of the few supported SCSI
  26. adapters on the 5-1/2" boot floppy.  The floppy has the driver you need.  We
  27. have the CDR-74 (external model of the 84, I believe), and we had to purchase
  28. the Adaptec 1542b because we couldn't get NT loaded using the T128 NEC SCSI
  29. adapter that we bought w/the cdrom drive.

  31. Just yesterday I loaded NT and, as far as the cdrom goes, we had NO PROBLEMS
  32. at all.  Besure to set your jumper correctly on the adaptec for booting from
  33. the floppy, however.  In our case, the default jumper setting didn't allow
  34. us to boot from the floppy, and after changing it, we were off and running.
