  12. I'm trying to install the NT pre-beta on my Insight 486/33 EISA. It has
  13. 8MB RAM, Adaptec 1542B (rev F) SCSI controller, Diamond Stealth VRAM, 2
  14. SCSI disks and Sony CDU-541 CD-ROM.
  15.  
  16. The disks are at id 0 and 1, the CD-ROM is at id 2. The installation
  17. boot disk boots properly and finds the 1542. Then the screen asking me
  18. whether I want express or custom setup appears. After I choose 'c' for
  19. custom, the status line says "Examining disk configurations..." and
  20. the system hangs.

  22. I believe I have the SCSI bus terminated correctly:

  28. Any ideas what could be wrong?
