- Hi,
- I got a July '92 version of Windows NT KDK (kernel debugging version),
- then I tried to install it according to the document "\readme\newcomer.txt". The
- document says that you have to "Follow the instructions in the PDK2 release
- notes to make the disks needed to build the FAT boot sector". My questions are:
- What is PDK2? and how to make this boot disk? I have tried to use the July '92
- NT SDK boot disk to boot up my Compaq 386/33 Deskpro, copy \nt (from KDK)
- directory, copy \ntldr, modify boot.ini, registry.ini then reboot the machine,
- but it hangs after it checked the file system.
-
- Could any kind soul help me on this?
-
- David

- p.s. I have used this machine to install NT SDK and I didn't get any
- problem at all.
