Sam Fuller at Dell Computer Corporation Advanced Systems Development mailed me
the following reply:-

   Be sure that your BIOS is A08 or above.  Other than that you shouldn't have
   any problems with the Dell hardware.  If you could be more specific about
   your hardware configuration I will try to help you out.

   The bios on earlier P and D serires machines will only return 16Meg for a
   bios memory size query.  Interestingly, this is the way it's supposed to
   work, per original IBM-AT documentation.  The flash update should be
   available from tech support.
