- I will be installing the preliminary Windows NT release on a ZEOS laptop
- (386DX, 8MB Ram, 202 MB IDE Drive, half-height 8 bit slot) and have been
- looking for CD-ROM package that would be supported under Windows NT.
- The Trantor MiniSCSI Plus Parallal-to-SCSI host adaptor would be an ideal
- solution as the 8 bit slot is already occupied. No Trantor SCSI host
- controllers are listed in the Windows NT supported hardware list but
- the list does include CD Technology CD Porta-Drive T-3301 and NEC CDR-73(M)
- CD-ROMs. In the reviews I have read the T-3301 is supplied with either
- the Trantor MiniSCSI (T339 ?) or Trantor T128 (8 bit half-height card)
- host controller. The NEC CDR-73(M) is also supplied with the
- Trantor T128 contoller.
-
- Is the CD Technology T-3301 and Trantor MiniSCSI combination supported
- under Windows NT ?

-
- Will any of the Windows NT supported SCSI host adaptors (particlarly Adaptec
- or Future Domain) fit in an 8bit half-height slot ? Will any of
- these support the CD Technology T-3301 ?
