- I used Borland C++ version 3.1 for the first time last night, and ran into
- a strange problem that I was hoping someone else has seen and solved.
- I run the "share" program from my autoexec.bat file. When I started up
- the BC++ windows IDE, and selected the 'make' option to build my project,
- I got a sharing violation which terminated windows. I found later that if
- I closed all the editor windows within the IDE before doing the make, that
- particular problem went away. However, that isn't a very nice solution!
-
- Once I discovered that, my projects would build, but the PC would "hang" for
- about 2 seconds and then beep at the completion of each compile and link. I
- believe this occurred when it tried to open up the next file for compiling.
-
- Has anyone else run into this? I need to run 'share' in order to run the
- Paradox engine application that I am writing. What's the answer?!?
