- I am currently in the early stages of developing my first windows app
- using microsoft c++ and the foundation class library. I have one question.
-
- My application will have a set of buttons on the top of the window, with
- some scrollable text below, not unlike the windows help facility. The problem
- I am having is, I haven't been able to figure out how to put the buttons
- on the screen in such a way that they are not in the same client area as
- the text. Right now, they get scrolled off the screen..:-( So if anyone
- knows how I should be doing this, please tell me.
-
-
- Some unrelated questions:
-
- does anyone know of a good public domain vi-clone and grep utility for
- dos that I can ftp somewhere? I'd appreciate it as well if someone could
- tell me where to find one ( especially a grep utility. Come to think of
- it, a diff utility would be nice too).
-
-
- Thanks in advance
-
- Ken
