- I have just installed Borland C++ 3.1, and now I am unable to link my
- application.
-
- I'm using Glockenspiel's CommonView 2 class library. There was no problem
- with the project as long as I used BC++ 3.0, but now all calls to
- CommonView routines result in "undefined symbol" errors at pass 2 of
- the linker.
-
- All those "undefined symbols" are reported in lower case; e.g. "Undefined
- symbol dialogwnd::enddialog in module so-and-so"; is that significant?
- (I tried turning off the "Case sensitive link" option, but to no avail.)
-
- The last error I get is "Undefined symbol app::start() in library file
- ..\cv2\lib\wcxxcbr.lib in module COMMONVU", so it seems that the linker
- does find the library, at least.
-
- There was also a problem with CommonView when I upgraded to BC++ 3.0,
- but the -Vo backwards compatibility switch took care of that. Not so
- this time...
-
- I would be grateful if someone could shed some light on this. In the
- meantime I guess it's back to 3.0; I've tried every compiler/linker
- option I can think of. Oh, well...
