  13. Sorry for a repeat question, but I did not see a reply to an earlier posting
  14. about this problem.  I, too, am trying out the "hexcalc" program from the
  15. original Petzold book.  This app just does a CreateDialog() to make its main
  16. window.  Well, the code no longer seems to work under 3.1.  I can't find a
  17. newer version of Petzold at the moment (all the bookstores are waiting for
  18. Ed. 3), so I can't check out if he changed the code.  I got a note from MS
  19. detailing how to create a main window and then fill it with a dialog box as
  20. a child, but Petzold's method is simpler.
