- I recently installed Supertetris for windows and liked the game except for one
- thing. Here is portion of the letter I sent to the internet address listed on
- the documentation (76004.2144@compuserve.com) for contacting Spectrum Holobyte.
-

-
- Dear Spectrum Holobyte,
-
- I recently purchased Supertetris for Windows.
-
- Now that I have installed it, every time I start (and stop) windows I get
- some stupid music. I'm sure that this was intentional on your part but now
- I want to know how to disable that music yet retain the sound while playing
- ST. If that is not possible I am willing to disable the ST sounds completely
- and play it in silence.
-
- I find it deeply disturbing that a company would even consider messing
- around with the computer environment outside the realm of their
- program. After all, why stop with just sound? Why not just plop a
- nice graphics image on the screen every time windows is started?
- If other companies follow suit, pretty soon folks will need to wade
- through dozens of billboards before they can get any thing done.
-
- [ I deleted the rest from the original to keep me out of trouble. ]
-
-
- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- I'm sure that Spectrum Holobyte would glady accept any input from their
- customers. If there is enough opinion either way I'm sure that they will take
- this into account in their 1992 product line.
-
- What do all of you think? I know the people at Spectrum Holobyte read
- netnews.
-
- I'll step off the soapbox now. Thanks for your time.
