- I know I'm coming to the gif-to-bmp thread a little late, but I have this
- suggestion. When I'm in WinGif, I retrieve a file I've decoded, say
- picture.gif, and view it. Then, while still in WinGif, I hit File Save.
- What happens is that the file gets saved as picture.bmp! This picture.bmp
- file can then be pulled up in paintbrush, no problem. You'll now have both
- picture.bmp and picture.gif. They seem to look the same when you are
- running 256 colors on SVGA, although there may be some very slight color
- change or "graininess" change.
-
- Hope this helps.
