  12.     I just read in an article (Windows Magazine, Sept, 1992) that a good
  13. way to save space on hard drives was to change the bmp files to compressed .RLE
  14. files. Is this correct, and can I still use them as wallpaper? Is there a
  15. simple program that will do this conversion?
  16.     Secondly, in defragmenting my hard drive they suggested that the most
  17. used directories (like windows, wpwin etc...) should go first and that this
  18. will provide the best optimization results because the disk does not have
  19. to search asfar. Can someone verify this for me?
