  16. There are many different parking programs for pc's.  But you need to remember

  18. one thing,  EXIT WINDOWS BEFORE TURNING OFF THE PC.  Windows keeps a couple
  19. of files open while it's running.  If you shut off the pc while windows is 
  20. up, it is possible that those files can become cross-linked and thrash the
  21. hard disk.

  23. So, to answer your question, there are no *WINDOWS* hard drive park programs.
  24. But, on simtel, in the disk utilities dir, there are some DOS parking
  25. programs.
