- Having received a netter's email claiming that gif2bmp works fine, I
- tried this program the second time. I used it to convert two gif
- files to bmp files, and paintbrush DID dispay the bmp files, in 16 color
- though. Sorry to Craig for inaccuracy. So that is the problem with the
- gif file (it is baywatch1.gif I downloaded from wuarchive.wustl.edu :-)
- BTW, why is the converted bmp file is in 16 colors rather than 256
- colors? Either of the bmp files I got by converting a gif file by WinGif
- or gif2bmp is not in 256 colors. Could anyone enlighten me on this
- matter? Thanks in advance.
