- Does anyone know of any updates to the Novell BYU IPX driver which
- I believe Intel published as PD? The 'current' ones (as obtained
- from the Clarkson Uni ftp site) do not appear to work all that well
- with Windows 3.1, the problem being that the tcp-ip application
- (only) will slow down to a crawl or even stop completely.
-
- All non-tcpip network operations seem to be unaffected, but in
- narrowing down the problem, we've tried using tcp-ip software
- which uses Novell's ODI layer, and these do not have the same
- problems when communicating across the same links. However, not
- all the software in use is ODI compatible and requires use of
- the Clarkson drivers, and hence the need for an update for the
- BYU IPX.OBJ.
-
- Please reply by email, and I'll summarise to the group if there is
- interest.
