  12. Some netters mentioned that wingif is a pretty good gif viewer for
  13. windows. However, when I downloaded it form ftp.cica.indiana.edu (in
  14. pub/pc/win3/desktop, btw), I found that it is just a beta release.
  15. Has the real one been released? And I found that many functions are
  16. disabled. For instance, after I opened a gif file, I pulled down Edit
  17. menu item and found that all functions except "edit pallete" and "copy"
  18. are disabled. I wonder why.
