  12.    Please forgive me if this is a FAQ, but...
  13.    I have a 386DX/20 running Windows 3.0, and I've solved many of the problems
  14. I've faced (I even got the damn thing to recognize COM4).  However, when I run
  15. an application which uses the Sound Blaster, the sound is *very* slow.  It's
  16. like playing a 78 RPM record at 33.  Why is this happening (other than the fact
  17. that Windows always makes everything slower!)?  Is there any way I can
  18. configure my system to get around that?  Is Windows 3.1 similar in its treat-
  19. ment of sound boards?
