  25. Yes and no. In almost every second game where I have about one third solved
  26. already there are points where it's impossible to tell where there is a
  27. mine and where there is none. Think of the following example:

  29. ) 1 1 .  "m" is a mine, "." is anything uncovered (no mines), "(" is
  30. ) m 2 .  the border (or make it "2"s), and "_" are the two yet uncovered
  31. ) _ 2 .  fields.  How do you tell which "_" is a mine and which is none.
  32. ) _ 2 .  This happens to me all the time.  The chance is 50% that you hit
  33. ) m 2 .  I hope that's not how real mine uncovering works but you know more
  34. ) 1 1 .  about that than I do (guessing from your address ;-)  )
