  13. I have a question about compatibility of ESDI drives (IMPRIMIS) with
  14. 3rd party ESDI controllers.  I know of a system that has a 650MB
  15. IMPRIMIS drive connected to a Compaq ESDI controller.  The controller
  16. has a Western Digital part on it, PLUS a Compaq ROM.  Through some
  17. testing, I've determined that this combo won't work in a system other
  18. than a Compaq.  What I want to know is if there are 3rd party ESDI
  19. controllers that are known to work with a drive such as this Imprimis
  20. 650MB.  Please respond by email.  Thanks.
