- }WP4Win is not really WYSIWYG; it's more of a pseudo-WYSIWYG. To demonstrate
- }this select normal (non-draft) mode. Select a proportionally spaced font
- }like Times Roman. On the first line of a document hit TAB and type some
- }text. On the second line of the document, SPACE over until the cursor
- }is directly under the text in the first line and type the same text.
- }If you Preview or Print the document, the text in the two lines will
- }not be lined up at all, even though they appear to be lined up on the
- }screen. Thus, what you see is not always what you get in WP4Win. There
- }may be other situations like this too.

- My father claims this is also true of MS-WORD for Windows. He sent
- me a letter written on WFW that he says was aligned fine in the window,
- but printed out ragged. He was using spaces rather than tabs. I told
- him to replace the spaces with tabs, but he said it was too much work.
