  13. The person from McDonnell-Douglas asks, "what's a gradebook?"  Funny, I was
  14. just wondering: "what's an airplane?"

  18. A gradebook is a log kept by a teacher of student attendance and progress. 
  19. While many instructors are still using a paper and pencil-type log, some
  20. have moved to electronic gradebooks.

  22. The principal advantage of the electronic versions (at least for me) is that
  23. numbers are aggregated automatically, saving me a lot of time and reducing
  24. my error rate.
