- Hello netters,
-
- subject says it all! I am out in the market to buy a 386/486 compiler
- for my 486; I have heard quite some good comments for the WATCOM compiler;
- however, last week a friend of mine (haven't seen him for years) told me
- that the execution speed of NDP486 is at quite faster than the WATCOM's
- product.
- I would like to hear if anyone of you has used the WATCOM and/or the
- MicroWay product any pros/cons; any reference to a PCMagazine/Byte article
- is welcome. MUST include: extended VMS compatibility, graphics and screen
- libraries. Also, any other related products you are aware of and/or suggestions
- are welcome. PLEASE, no suggestion on using f2c/djgpp for FORTRAN programming.
-
- Thank you very much,

- sufficient interest.
