  13. I have a friend who is trying to run an electron lens ray tracing 
  14. programe.  The program supports the following drivers for the screen
  15. IBMEGA.SYS
  16. IBMVGA12.SYS
  17. IBMAFH.SYS  -  this is some 8514/A driver
  18.  
  19. She has recently upgraded her system with a new monitor and paradise
  20. based card.  The programme will only display graphical output when the
  21. old IBMEGA.SYS driver is installed.  The monitor is capable of 1024 by 712
  22. resolution (interlaced) or 800 by 600 noninterlaced.  The card itself only
  23. goes to 800 by 600 in 16 colours.  But she uses this resolution for running 
  24. windows.

  26. I am not very familar with using device drivers.  Is there someway I could
  27. either fool the programme into thinking that the windows device driver was
  28. one of the ones above.  By renaming the file.  Or do you know where I might 
  29. get the real drivers by anonymous ftp.
