- SLIP stands for Serial Line Internet Protocol. In a nutshell, using an
- "ordinary" async dialup connection, your machine will look as if it is
- connected to the dialed-to systems local area network. This gives you ftp,
- telnet, etc access to the other network. I use Chameleon under Windows 3.1 for
- the software and a DSI modem at effectively 19.2 to connect to a NetBlazer.
