  17. I just recently learned about TWAIN which is part of the software that
  18. Logitech included with the ScanMan 256 which I just bought. Since the
  19. readme file with the package points out that the manual refers to TWAIN by
  20. another name (its development name), it may be that this is proprietary to
  21. Logitech.
