  13. I've been asked to find out about low cost (cheap, free, heavily educational
  14. discount) authoring packages that run on MSDOS machines.  I'm looking for
  15. something to set up relatively simple interactive displays -- "guided tours"
  16. for booths when a presenter is not available.

  18. The person needing this has very little programming ability.   Although what
  19. I suspect I'd like would be a PC version of HyperCard, I suspect they don't
  20. exist cheaply.  One possibility I've heard about is Visual Basic.  Can
  21. anyone provide recommendations for any packages that would be appropriate?
