- Its time to think about backups...
- I have my 130M disk partitioned into three drives, and I need
- software that will allow me to back each drive onto floppies.
-
- Each drive has different back up requirements, so I definitely
- need software that will allow me to keep track of the differing
- backup frequencies.
-
- I plan on doing complete backups every three--six months, and
- incremental backups every day for one drive, and incremental backups
- every week/month for the other drives.
- I hope it is possible to do multiple incremental backups from the
- previous complete backup---as different from incrementally backing up the
- drive from the previous *incremental* backup.
-
- I am looking for software < US$50, and have tried
- out the shareware version on SIMTEL20 (MegaBack). It has many features,
- but I am looking for something much simpler....
-
- Has anybody used Central Point's Backup software (it retails for
- $39 at a local store).
- Comments regarding backup software in general will be appreciated...
