  14. I'm trying to compile a c program with extensive macros
  15. on a 486 with 16MB of memory: 
  16. cl /AH /c /Gt512 myprog.c
  17.  
  18. I'm getting errors like:
  19. C1056 compiler limit : out of macro expansion space
  20. and
  21. C1002 out of heap space
  22.  
  23. Do I need a better compiler than Microsoft 6.0?
