- Just a small technical point:
- Macs _DO_ have the hardware to run virtual memory and network file
- systems (see System 7, please; both are built in, and both work on
- the 68000 processor (albeit slower 'n molasses in January)--at one
- point I was running System 7 on a Classic (which required that virtual
- memory be enabled--System 7 was too much for the 2M machine :-))
- And...X is redundant on a Mac. (Although it does run under A/UX; I know
- someone who uses it on a MacII (68020).)
