  13. Hi !
  14. I have a problem. Linux bootimage-0.97 won't boot for me. I insert it and
  15. it starts to load but after awhile I get prompted:

  17.   Hit <RETURN> to see SVGA-modes available or any other key to continue.

  19. Well if I hit <RET>, it prints Mode: COLSxROWS and hangs. And if I hit any 
  20. other key the machine just hangs. (With -hangs- I mean that the only thing it
  21. will respond to is the three-finger-salute or the programmers button :-)

  23. Now I wonder is the problem with:
  24. a) Linux (I don't think so)
  25. b) The ET4000 graphics board 
  26. c) Me

  28. Any clues out there ?

  30. The machine I'm using is 486 w/4MB mem 130MB hd and said ET4000
