  12. I'm runing kermit5A on linux 0.97.1 with a modem attached to
  13. /dev/ttys2.  But I keep on seeing a lot of garbage on the screen. Why?
  14. Did I have to set up some thing in kermit5A.  I've do the 'set line
  15. /dev/ttys2'  and 'set speed 9600'. I've a Scout+ modem which can do
  16. 38400 hardware handshake(cts/rts) and it works flawless under MSDOS.
  17. Is there something missing in the setup.  I also do 'set flow rts'
  18. still GARBAGE.  
  19. Any clue?

  25. BTW: I've a 16550AFN installed and detected by the kernel correctly.
