- I am having quite a problem printing out files from linux. When I
- type cat < filename > /dev/lp1 everything goes along fine for a while
- but then I hear three beeps from my printer (epson fx80+) and I
- recieve a cat:write error or a lp1 timeout error. I am currently
- cutting documents at the point where the error occured and printing
- the remainder seperatly. This is becoming quite annoying. I have not
- seen the problem mentioned before so I assume that I am doing
- something quite silly.
-
- Thanks in advance.
