  19. I've noticed the same thing.  I've been following this group for quite
  20. a while now, and each day it becomes less and less enjoyable to read.
  21. (Not a gripe; an acknowledgement)  Hmm...  Enjoyable.  Seems to me this
  22. is the very quality that attracted me to Linux.  Are we perhaps drifting
  23. from this essence, folks?

  25. I don't [at least yet] intend on "throwing in the towell," nor am I
  26. under some delusion that "the group would be lost" without me.  But
  27. sooner or later, the people who we /would/ be lost without will be
  28. gone.  Why should they waste all their spare time to wade through a
  29. bunch of this garbage (this letter included; I regret that I feel 
  30. driven to write it) ?

  33. here: it's quite a fucking bit, and it seems to me we're getting a
  34. little too greedy.
