- If i put a write protected floppy in drive a: I can do:

- %tar cvf /dev/fd0 files # lists files as if they were being written to
- # the floppy. Of course, they aren't.

- %mkfs -c /dev/fd0 1440 # It _migth_ be fdformat, but I don't think so.
- # My stuff is at home. It happyly reports progress.
- # Nut I don't think it does.

- Is it only me? Is this a feature :) ? It already got me a few times,
- I deleted some files I thought were backed up when they weren't.
