  12. Is there some difference between the DOS header provided by the mformat
  13. command and that provided by a "real" MS_DOS FORMAT?
  14. I'm under the impression that such a difference exists, because I've found
  15. that a Mac IIsi running AccessPC (which allows it to use MS-DOS disks
  16. transparently) does not recognize disks that got a DOS label from mtools,
  17. while the same disketee, when formatted by MS-DOS, rather than using
  18. fdformat + mformat, works just fine.
  19. Is this a known problem?
