  14. sorry to ask this faq, but i didn't find it in the faq list (date 92/06/12).

  19. how do i put the BOOTimage onto my hd? i did this once, worked fine, but
  20. can't remember where i read about this. must have been something with dd.
  21. i tried "dd if=/dev/floppy0 /vmlinux" but this gave me a 1.4 MB file
  22. (the whole floppy disk instead of ~ 230k bootimage file).

  24. i'm using shoelace, as you might guess. changed the root partition, edited
  25. the bootdisk with dos norton utility, but can't get this image onto the hd
  26. to boot without a floppy.
