- It's a valid gripe, and I'll probably make a binary available when I
- release patch2 (this weekend). patch1 was a very hurried release: I
- wouldn't have released it if it wasn't for the fact that I wanted to
- hear comments about the speed-up (if any). As it turned out, patch1 is
- perfectly ok (especially after the 1-line patch), and doesn't have any
- more problems than any other release, but I wasn't sure when I made it.

- There still seems to be some problems with 0.97.pl1: the buffer-cache
- corruption is the worst one. I haven't seen it myself, and it seems to
- be a SCSI problem, but I'm not sure. I'll probably try the test-program
- somebody posted if I can find the disk-space for it. I doubt the
- problem will be fixed by patch2: especially if I'm unable to see it.
