  16. Source for all the GNU stuff is, of course, available from your local
  17. GNU repository.

  19. The init/getty/login stuff is from poe's suite of programs, and many
  20. of the admin-type programs (shutdown, last, write, others) are from
  21. his admutils package.

  23. The mount/umount/swapon stuff is from Doug Quale.  The previous
  24. version has some small bugs, and I made some quick and ugly hacks to
  25. get around them - Doug has said he will be making newer and presumably
  26. cleaner mount stuff available 'soon'.

  28. joe, the editor, is available in source on the net someplace - use
  29. archie.

  31. Most of the other Linux-specific programs are available in a file
  32. called system-0.95a.tar.Z, floating around tsx-11 someplace.

  34. If there's anything specific, you'll have to ask more specifically.

  36. (Note:  I will eventually make my patches for the GNU utilities
  37. available, but it's not one of my top priorities.  And before any
  38. bonehead who thinks he knows all there is to know about the GPL wants
  39. to squeak - refresh yourself on how long it took NeXT to make
  40. available their patches to the GNU stuff (gcc, in particular) to
  41. people who had *paid* them for it.)
