- Source for all the GNU stuff is, of course, available from your local
- GNU repository.
-
- The init/getty/login stuff is from poe's suite of programs, and many
- of the admin-type programs (shutdown, last, write, others) are from
- his admutils package.
-
- The mount/umount/swapon stuff is from Doug Quale. The previous
- version has some small bugs, and I made some quick and ugly hacks to
- get around them - Doug has said he will be making newer and presumably
- cleaner mount stuff available 'soon'.
-
- joe, the editor, is available in source on the net someplace - use
- archie.
-
- Most of the other Linux-specific programs are available in a file
- called system-0.95a.tar.Z, floating around tsx-11 someplace.
-
- If there's anything specific, you'll have to ask more specifically.
-
- (Note: I will eventually make my patches for the GNU utilities
- available, but it's not one of my top priorities. And before any
- bonehead who thinks he knows all there is to know about the GPL wants
- to squeak - refresh yourself on how long it took NeXT to make
- available their patches to the GNU stuff (gcc, in particular) to
- people who had *paid* them for it.)
-
- You'd think I'd be in a better mood for someone who has been relaxing
- all day. :)
