  12. Ok, SLS is now available at tsx-11.mit.edu:/pub/linux/SLS.
  13. But since it totals about 17 Meg or so, I caution all but
  14. the most zealous against obtaining it.  Basically just
  15. testers please.

  17. The reason I am posting and not mailing just the testers, is
  18. that I am away on maternity, my machine has been toasted for
  19. me so that I have no mail access.  Good timing eh?  So just
  20. post test results please, since I can not receive your mail
  21. right now.

  23. If all goes ok, after a week or so, other FTP sites could
  24. pick it up.  It should be pretty apparent by then what the
  25. collective opinion is.

  27. BTW:  If there are any comments about other software that should
  28. be added, please let me know.  I insist upon keeping it to 15 disks
  29. for now, but there is still some room left (not much though).
  30. But, if you just want to bitch about how it should contain
  31. the source tree, or should have all the alpha kernels and 
  32. tcpip alpha, etc, please consider using 386BSD.  The goal of SLS
  33. is to maintain a balance between small and featureful, with 
  34. an emphasis on the former.
