- I never say anything is impossible, but I find this really unlikely.
- Any UNIX type system doesn't use the BIOS for anything except reading in
- the boot sector, so I can't see that the BIOS has anything to do with a
- running system. Sounds to me as though you don't have enough swap space,
- or forgot to turn on swapping, or some such.

- I really don't think it will. If it does I won't believe the BIOS is
- involved unless shown some rational reason to believe. I've put Linux on
- four machines with AMI BIOS, and am still batting 4/4 on working first
- time.
