  22.   I never say anything is impossible, but I find this really unlikely.
  23. Any UNIX type system doesn't use the BIOS for anything except reading in
  24. the boot sector, so I can't see that the BIOS has anything to do with a
  25. running system. Sounds to me as though you don't have enough swap space,
  26. or forgot to turn on swapping, or some such.

  31.   I really don't think it will. If it does I won't believe the BIOS is
  32. involved unless shown some rational reason to believe. I've put Linux on
  33. four machines with AMI BIOS, and am still batting 4/4 on working first
  34. time.
