- I have been getting error when recompiling large program
- under 0.97 pl1. These errors are usually caused by undefined
- symbols being referenced. Such as "nr_pa5es symbol not defined".
- These errors will sometimes repeat the exact same errors, until I go
- to another terminal do something that requires disk access and then
- the compilation will proceed further or possibly finish.
-
- When I look at the file with vi the error is no where to be found. I
- assume that this is a problem with the buffers being corrupted. Is
- this a problem with anyone else. I have a 486 with two IDE drives and
- 16MB mem. If any other info will help I would be glad to provide it.
-
- NOTE: this is a problem that has occured only occationally when
- compiling big X programs and the kernel.
