- I want to make sure that I get the right SVGA card and monitor so
- let's see if I have this correct.
-
- To run X under Linux, I'll need a multi-scanning, mulitfrequency SVGA
- monitor (such as those NEC suckers or a Mitsubuishi Diamond Scan) and
- a certain type of SVGA card.
-
- Now......what SVGA cards are good????
- I've looked everywhere for et4000 cards. Noone has them. BTW, how much
- do they cost??
-
- SOme people have had succed with Paradide, but only at 800x640.
- I want 1240xwhatever. Any ideas?
- Has anyone compiler a list of SVGA cards supported by X under LINUX???
-
- Thanx in advance.
