- I have been running 0.96pl2 and decided to try the new 0.97pl1 kernel
- last night. For some reason I can get it to boot the new kernel. I
- looked in my notes, and then the FAQ, and I seem to have done it right,
- tried /etc/system, still used the old kernel, tried /etc/Image, tried a
- few more things, n.g.
-
- I suppose I'll wind up getting the source for shoelace and grinding
- through it to see what I did the last time (0.96c => 0.96pl2) I
- upgraded, but I sure don't see it.
-
- Replies by mail, please, I'm sure if anyone else cared it would be in
- the FAQ ;-)

- I admit that when I was in school I wrote COBOL. But I didn't compile.
