  15. Before you can do anything else, you need a program that will run in C128
  16. native mode, and will copy your CP/M files over to a CP/M disk.  There's
  17. a program callled Crosslink (or Xlink) that will do this, although its
  18. capabilities are limited.
  19.  
  20. Once you have Xlink, you should also get a program called RDCBM and transfer
  21. it to a CP/M disk, along with the necessary utility to extract the files.
  22. (You'll probably find it in the form of RDCBM21.LBR, which requires a
  23. de-library utility, as well as an unsqueezer.)

  25. RRDCBM will allow you to read those Commodore native GCR disks while you're
  26. running CP/M, but it only works with a 1541 or 1571 drive.  If you have a
  27. 1581, you're out of luck.  Unless....!

  29. Unless you have a 1750 or compatible (512K or larger) REU.  I have a program
  30. called xfer2reu, which runs in 128 native mode, and will transfer files
  31. from a Commodore disk to the CP/M ramdisk, formatting the ramdisk if
  32. necessary.  So far as I know, it works with any CBM drive.  However, it 
  33. only works with a 1750 or clone, not with 1700 (unless it's been upgraded
  34. to 512K), and certainly not with QBB, RamLink, RamDrive, GeoRam, or any
  35. other type of ram expansion.

  37. XFER2REU is not entirely bug-free, so it's properly still in the beta-testing
  38. stage.  However, it does work quite well most of the time for me.  I've
  39. had some difficulties making it work properly for someone who has a very
  40. early 128, so I can't guarantee it would work for you.
