- Hello,
-
- a friend ftp'ed nn from (think) raven....
- But it was version 6.3.8.
- So I tried to port nn 6.4.16 on my own.
- The most difficulty is to create the ymakefile due to sh/sed/awk of
- Coherent. sed is for me a mysterious thing so I gave up.
- I choosed an easier way:
-
- created a ymakefile ( s-sys5.h, m-sun386i.h) on my Interactive machine,
- copied it to Coherent 4.0 and compiled nn 6.4 there.
-
- When you have the chance to compile nn on another UNIX to get the ymakefile,
- then the rest of porting (some redeclares, missing termio.h in term.c, some
- defs in the system file) is really easy.
-
- If someone already has the ported 6.3.8 from RAVEN and an original nn 6.4.16
- then one should have no difficulties to get nn 6.4.16 up and running (as long
- as you have a little knowledge about UNIX and C).
-
-
- Cheers,
-
- Joachim
