- I have installed Coherent 4.0 on a 486/33 that also runs OS/2 and DOS
- 5.0. I installed Coherent as directed, making the Coherent partition
- active, so that on power up it boots Coherent unless I specify the
- OS/2 boot manager partition. Everything worked fine for about two
- weeks, but now Coherent won't boot. If I power up and don't specify
- another partition, I get a message that says Coherent partition 2, the
- a drive light comes on, and the machine freezes. If I reset and
- specify the boot manager partition, it works fine and I can boot either
- OS/2 or DOS from that menu. I would appreciate hearing from anyone
- who may have encountered this, or from MWC if they have any idea. If
- all else fails I will try to reinstall Coherent, but I would prefer
- not to have to take that step.
- Thanks.
