  10. I've just got my copy of 4.0.1 loaded up on my wife's Lasar 386sx (4 mb ram,
  11. 30 mb IDE partition, and hooked to my USR 14.4k v.42 via com3).  I seem
  12. to be having problems, like a lot of other new users, getting this thing
  13. to work.  I'm able to see lights flicker with the "echo 'FOO' >/dev/com3r"
  14. line, but...when I remove all locks, and then try the line in the manual,
  15. I get back a message that com3r is either locked or non-existant....

  17. I'm going with the default of 9600 for the com3 line, and also have commented
  18. out the 2400 baud line and uncommented the 9600 line in L.sys for mwcbbs.

  20. So, does there exist a FAQ that I can download from somewhere over the
  21. net (can do this at work)?  Or, can someone please mail/forward to me
  22. something that will do the job?
