  12. Sorry if this is a FAQ but I am a newbie as far as UNIX is
  13. concerned.
  14. I am presently  using a lot of DOS progs. - MS Fortran 5.1,
  15. PCTex 386, and occasionally Windows. I would like to get
  16. my hands dirty with UNIX, and for $100 an OS - Coherent
  17. seems a good choice. However, I want to be able to 
  18. continue using my DOS programs even with Coherent loaded , i.e
  19. running them side by side. Can I do that? I am using a 486-33,
  20. 8 MB Ram, & a 120MB HD.
